Torticollis

Baby Owen was brought to Atlantic Chiropractic with a condition called torticollis, which means “twisted neck.” His head was unable to stay in any position except bowed to the right. Owen’s parents stated the condition began at his birth when the attending physician, who appeared to be in a hurry, reached in with forceps, twisted the baby’s head to the right and then pulled him out by his neck.

Chiropractic can treat this problem very successfully. Owen was given a series of gentle adjustments over a period of two weeks.

Owen’s neck was restored to normal function within two weeks.
